Availability:
In order to give each couple the best possible painting and service, I limit myself to 30 weddings and 10 studio commissions each year.
80% of my live wedding painting couples book their date 6-12 or more months in advance of their big day. It is never too soon (or too late!) to see if I am available for your date!

Choose your Canvas
Once you’ve settled on the canvas size perfect for your soon-to-be prized possession, I’ll send over your contract and the invoice for the deposit, and we will be booked! Then, all you have to do is sit back and relax (and keep furiously planning your wedding, of course), and keep an eye on my social media to start figuring out what you’d love for your own painting!

Let’s Chat about your Painting
A few weeks out from your big day, I will reach out to arrange a time for us to chat on the phone! We’ll discuss all things wedding day timeline, and what you’ve got in mind for the painting! Whether you’ve got a very specific vision, or would like to trust me with finding the perfect moment for your wedding painting (an honor I take VERY seriously), I’ll take careful notes and ask leading questions to get the clearest idea for what type of painting will make your jaw drop at the end of the night.

Wedding Day!
You don’t need to worry about me one bit - I’ve got it covered.
Since we’ve discussed the wedding day timeline and vision for the painting beforehand, I’ve got everything I need to work my magic for you. I arrive 2-3 hours prior to your ceremony to get my reference photos of you, set up my easel, and start planning and painting to get through one or two of those early ugly stages before guests arrive.
And all of your favorite people love to see your portrait come together. I paint through cocktail hour and reception, chatting with guests, vibing with the music, laughing and crying at speeches and dances, and occasionally handing over my brush to your guests to let them add a few brushstrokes!

Studio Touchups & Completion
I’m quick, but good things still take time - My dedication to realism and portrait likeness means that every painting comes home with me for touchups and detailing. I care very much that your painting both looks and feels like you and your wedding day. I also want to allow each painting thorough drying time before varnishing (typically 2 weeks), to ensure longevity of color. Once your painting is complete, I will send you a nice photo of the painting, and we will chat about pickup, delivery, or shipping! Depending on your canvas size and wedding date (some seasons being busier than others), you can expect your painting completed within 8-12 weeks.

Frame, Display, & Cherish!
With your painting, I provide suggestions for framing and hanging. I love to see where you choose to display your painting in your home – it makes my heart grow three sizes to see my paintings being loved by you! Enjoy it forever.
